Solidarity Resources

Housing in Northern Virginia, like in many places, is simply not working for most people. There are alternative systems for how we can house ourselves, and we are interested in working together to take ownership of housing, as communities and people living on the land, instead of constantly trying to survive as rent-seeking financiers hold hostage the basic needs of life. Resources on how we are doing this will be added here as we grow and develop this site together.

La vivienda en el norte de Virginia, al igual que en muchos otros lugares, simplemente no está funcionando para la mayoría de las personas. Existen sistemas alternativos para proveernos de vivienda, y nos interesa trabajar juntos para asumir la propiedad de la misma —como comunidades y como personas que habitan la tierra—, en lugar de intentar sobrevivir constantemente mientras financieros especuladores mantienen como rehenes las necesidades básicas de la vida. A medida que crezcamos y desarrollemos este sitio de manera conjunta, iremos añadiendo aquí recursos sobre cómo estamos llevando a cabo este proceso.
