Hello! My name is Caroline Meyer

Hello! My name is Caroline, and I'm a fellow organizer with NOVASEN. I was raised in Northern Virginia and worked as an architectural designer in the wider DMV area for 15 years. My design experience includes market-rate multifamily new builds, historical renovations of deeply affordable housing, single family renovations, high-end hospitality, commercial spec suites, and site planning.

My experience with deeply affordable projects left me with many questions with regard to how resources are distributed and how projects are awarded - this has pulled me towards a deep belief that individual rights to Health, Safety, and Dignity are not negotiable standards when it comes to designing for our communities. To that end, my belief is that land sovereignty is an important component of safeguarding these standards.
