0–5 min | Arrival & Framing
Purpose: Set tone + intention
Welcome + why this matters now
Name the shift from personal to collective
Share the output: “By the end, we’ll have a shared 2026 snapshot we can build from.”
Prompt to ground ALL:
“Take a breath and imagine it’s December 2026 and this community worked.”

5–10 min | Imaginative Warm-Up
Purpose: Get people out of their heads
Try one:
Eyes closed visualization:
“You’re arriving at a gathering in 2026… what do you notice first?”
Word burst:
In chat or aloud: What’s one word you hope defines us in 2026?
Capture words and visual live (whiteboard, online platform, paper).

10–20 min | Small Group Visioning
Purpose: Depth + connection
Break into pairs or trios - Online, too
Give 3 prompts only:
How is this community different in 2026?
What are we known for?
What do members say they gained by being here?
Ask these to:
Capture phrases, not essays
Capture visuals
Circle what feels alive / forward moving

20–35 min | Collective NOVASEN
Purpose: Build the shared vision (e.g., words/themes/visuals) as NOVASEN leadership reinforced
Bring everyone back and ask:
“What themes kept repeating?”
“What visuals kept repeating?”
“What surprised you?”
“What feels non-negotiable?”
Co-facilitators and ALL:
Group similar ideas
Group similar visuals
Name emerging pillars
Reflect energy back:
“I’m hearing X, X, and X—does that resonate?”
"We're ALL hearing..."
"I'm seeing..."
"We're ALL seeing..."

35–50 min | Group Vision Board Creation
Purpose: Make it tangible + visual
Depending on format:
In-person:
One large board; participants add images/words
Virtual:
Shared Online Platform (Dicidim/Miro/Canva/Slides)
Structure the board and online platform into 4 zones:
Who We Are (Identity)
How We Show Up (Behaviors)
What We Create (Impact)
How It Feels to Belong
Let it be messy. Mess = buy-in.

50–60 min | Anchoring + Closing
Purpose: Lock meaning + momentum
Ask closing question (popcorn style):
“What’s one word you’re leaving with?”
Then anchor:
Name what we’ll do with the Vision
When it will be revisited
How members can live into it now
Close by asking members to name one action we will take this year
